A California native, Cecily recently graduated USC with her Masters of Music in flute performance. She graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor’s of Arts in flute performance in 2016. Her primary teachers include Jim Walker, Diana Morgan, and Sheridon Stokes. She has performed in masterclasses for flutists like Emmanuel Pahud (world renown soloist and principal of the Berlin Philharmonic), Denis Bouriakov (renown soloist and principal of the Los Angeles Philharmonic) , Robert Langevin (principal of the New York Philharmonic and Juilliard professor) , Denis Bluteau (associate principal of Montreal Symphony), and many more! She was a runner-up at UCLA Atwater’s Concerto Competition in 2015, and was a recipient of the Atwater scholarship and UCLA Gluck Outreach scholarship while she was attending UCLA. 

Cecily was an active participant in the USC Symphony and USC Wind Ensemble. She was also a member of the USC Thornton Outreach program, teaching music to elementary school students on a weekly basis. She enjoys working with students of all ages and welcomes any new students to her studio!
